What is Rhinoplasty?

A rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose for cosmetic or reconstructive purposes. Who is a good candidate for rhinoplasty?

Nose reshaping candidates should generally be in at least their mid teenage years (about 14-15 for girls and slightly older for boys). Before this age, the nasal bone is still not fully matured and the shape of the nose is not yet stabilized. Before the rhinoplasty procedure, you will have ample opportunity to discuss your options and expectations of success with your surgeon.
